FOUNDATIONS

What we believe

We believe that our church is designed to make disciples. Disciples that grow in Christ to resemble Him more in daily living. Disciples that share thier stories with their communities.

We acccomplish this through a simple process of Loving God, Loving Others and Being Servants. This is developed in our vision of connecting, growing and serving. Our Worship Services, Small Group Events and various ministries provide the people of this church with ample opportunites to practice this "Process". Join us in this great adventure of becoming the people that God wants us to be!

Core Values . . .

  • We believe the Bible to be God's inerrant, inspired Word. It is our authority and is relevant for us today.
  • We believe that there is one true, holy God, eternally existing in the three persons:

    • Creator - God . . . Is our heavenly Father, infinitely perfect and intimately acquainted with all our ways.

    Jesus Christ - our Lord . . . God who came in human flesh ~ the object of our worship and the subject of our praise.

    Holy Spirit - the third member of the Godhead, at work convicting, convincing and counseling.

  • We believe that because of sin, man is separated in his relationship with God, and must experience the new birth, made possible by the Savior's death and bodily resurrection. We must repent our sins, confess the faith and be baptized.
  • We believe the church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to:

    • Evangelize the lost Educate for maturity Encourage God's Family

    Exalt God Equip for ministry Empower for mission

  • We believe that every believer is given spiritual gifts to be used in His church.
  • We believe that spritual growth is a daily process, requiring time given in prayer, bible study and worship.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ will one day return, which could occur at any moment ~ and He will reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
  • We believe that all who have died will be brought back from beyond ~ believers to everlasting fellowship with God and unbelievers to everlasting separation from God.
